Another newbie!! When I first met this beauty she was walking in Bellefleur’s annual lingerie fashion show, “The Enchantment Hotel”, and I was shooting behind the scenes.  She was super camera shy, in fact, early in the evening she mentioned to me that she didn’t want her photo taken. I did it anyway (because I’m a bit of a rebel) and she fell in love with the pics, which quickly led to planning a full fledged boudoir shoot. Allison went full force into the planning and found her dream (top secret) location. It spoke to her moody artsy side and provided an indoor pool for us to use AND she got it for free. You don’t have to spend a ton of money to find something unique and perfect for you, all you need are connections and I absolutely guarantee you have them if you look hard enough.

I stumbled across an amazing article yesterday, “7 Tips for Taking Your First Ever Boudoir Photos” written by The Militant Baker <- AMAZING. I really feel like Allison hit all of these points right on the head and it totally shows in her shoot. It is such a gift to watch women open up to this experience. I think we definitely have a convert – just look at her!
