Seen & Sovereign | A Boudoir Retreat at Breitenbush Hot Springs

Y’all. I am SO excited to finally officially share this with you.

This is not your average boudoir retreat. It’s not about pretending to love yourself for a weekend or performing confidence for the camera. This is about being witnessed more honestly. About reconnecting with the parts of yourself that got buried under survival, performance, perfectionism, shame, grief, burnout, people pleasing, heartbreak, or just the noise of modern life.

And we get to do it surrounded by hot springs, forests, rivers, femmes, creativity, softness, truth, and nature.

I specifically asked Olivia Fromm to do this with me because of the absolutely insane impact she’s had on my life in the short time I’ve been lucky enough to know and work with her. Truly one of those people where after meeting them you’re just like, “ohhhh okay, this person is going to change lives.”

So naturally, I immediately wanted to create something together.

A woman in a tulle robe sits on wet rocks in shallow water, looking upward. Text over image reads: “SEEN & SOVEREIGN, A Breitenbush Hot Springs boudoir retreat.”.

why breitenbush?

Honestly, because there could not be a more perfect place for this. Breitenbush has genuinely changed my life. I’ve spent 1/4 of my life there for the last year and half. I know it like the back of my hand and it’s still bringing me transformative revelations everytime I go.

There is something incredibly potent about that land. The hot and cold water that have run through it every moment for thousands of years. The constant sound of the rushing water and the deep quiet that accompanies it. The river and the steam. The way the forest seems to pull things out of you you didn’t even realize you were holding.

Something cracked open in me there.

Not in a dramatic “I became enlightened overnight” kind of way, but in a very real, human way. I have softened there. I started listening to myself differently there. I started reconnecting to parts of myself that had been buried under survival mode, productivity, performance, burnout, and noise.

And I’ve watched it happen to so many other people too.

There’s something about being held by that environment, surrounded by nature and mineral water and slowness and genuine presence, that creates space for honesty. You can breathe differently there. We’ll be soaking, resting, photographing, moving, journaling, laughing, probably crying a little, and existing together in a way that feels increasingly rare these days.

this is not just about photos

Okay obviously the photos are going to be beautiful. You know I care deeply about that. If you’re new to my work, you can explore my boudoir photography here.

But what I care about even more is how it feels to exist inside yourself while being witnessed.

You do not need to know how to pose.

You do not need to arrive confident.

You do not need to become a different version of yourself first.

This experience is fully guided, collaborative, consent-based, and rooted in helping people feel genuinely comfortable enough to actually let themselves be seen.

Honestly, some of the most powerful moments I witness during boudoir sessions have absolutely nothing to do with the final images.

retreat details

Seen & Sovereign takes place August 24–27, 2026 at Breitenbush Hot Springs in Oregon. Retreat tuition includes lodging, meals, workshops, embodiment experiences, guided boudoir photography, professionally edited images, and hot springs access. Spots are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate and connected.

Honestly, I think this retreat is going to be really f*cking special.

Not because we think we have all the answers or because anyone is going to magically transform overnight, but because there is something incredibly powerful about being witnessed honestly in a space that feels safe enough to soften.

About stepping away from normal life for a few days.

About hot springs and cold river water and femmes and storytelling and creativity and being held by nature a little.

About remembering parts of yourself that maybe got quiet for a while.

If something in you is reacting to this, even a little, I’d pay attention to that.

We would absolutely love to have you there.
