Laketia’s shoot really highlights just how much FUN we have on set. She was so nervous that she would be awkward on camera, but she took the dive anyway and look at her! Before you’ve been through this experience, it’s easy to imagine that it’s serious and hard and that you won’t do well, but that’s literally not possible. The way I shoot, we’re just laughing at ourselves the whole time. The #1 biggest thing I hear after the shoot is “Wow, that was not at all what I expected, it was so easy!” The best thing you can do for yourself is trust that we’re going to make magic. Because I promise you, we are.

It also should be noted that Laketia is literally my longest fan, she’s been following my work since before I even called myself a photographer. Nearly 10 years!!! It was such a pleasure to work with her. We planned her shoot for almost 6 months and she put everything she had in creating her looks and finding a space. Basically she’s a boss and I LOVE HER.
