To celebrate the start of the warm season and being able to *comfortably* shoot outside again, I put together a list of my favorite outdoor locations in WA. All of these locations are easily accessed and don’t require an insane hike to get to (not all are accessible but some are, reach out if you need more specific guidance). We can also split time between my tiny house studio in Everett and a nearby outdoor location (they are marked below). I’ll continue to revisit this post and add more favorite locations as I find them, but this is a solid list that has taken me many years to accumulate:
Seattle-Everett area (ish):
- Japanese Maple at The Tiny Haus (ONLY accessible by my clients in the summer)
- North Creek Park Swamplands/Boardwalk Trail – Emily & Christina Maternity (close to my tiny house studio in Everett)
- Big Gulch Trail in Mukilteo, WA – Pictured below (close to my tiny house studio in Everett)
- Lord Hill in Snohomish, WA – Alena & Andrew (close to my tiny house studio in Everett)
- Discovery Park (super popular for families) – Emily & Jonathan Maternity, Sam & Derek Maternity
- Pioneer Square (popular for headshots & portraits) – Raffetto Real Estate, Bethany & Eli Wedding
- Eastlake Exit under the overpass on I-5 in Seattle, WA – Blue
- Golden Gardens – Ruby
- Lake Washington – Cayla & Andrew & Jojo
